Google and Apple Contribution against COVID-19

Across the world, Government and Health Authorities are working together to find solution to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

In this situation Google and Apple are announcing to contribute and put their joint effort to fight against COVID-19, using bluetooth technology and contact tracking technology to help the government and health agency to reduce the spread of the virus.

There are many Health Authorities, Universities and NGOs are helping to developed Opt-In Contact Tracing Technology.

These two MNCs will launch a Comprehensive solution that include Application Program Interference (APIs) and OS - level Technology which will Assist in Contact Tracing.


Both Company will Release API which will enable to Communicate between Android and IOS device using apps from Health Authorities in the month of May.

Next they will develop Bluetooth Based Contact Tracing Platform which will be more Robotous Solution than API.
Inspite of that User Privacy, Transparency and Consent will be the much Important.


The Technology will work in this way :-

Once the user download the Public Health Apps. 1. He/She have to Permit it to Collect the      Anonymous Data.
2.When He/She meet a person a record will be generated.
3.If the individual update the status as COVID +Ve, the Data will be Automatically Uploaded on the Cloud.
4.Other People App will Check if they had met any COVID +Ve person.
5.If the match is found user will be Alerted.
